BEHIND THE LENS

Alexandra Alvarova – photographer, journalist. She created her first pictures between

2008 -2010 in Vienna, where she had lived for 6 years. After spending the first years in report photography, she tried to experiment and seek her own style. Finally she found two absolutely different styles of her very own personal expression. Abstract photography of the iron scrap and portrait photography. She fell in love with iron scrap in the second district Vienna (2.Bezirk, Donaustadt) during observation of old ships on Danube. She is a pupil of the famous Photographer Robert Vano (Vogue U.S., Elle, etc), she took lessons of the portraits and nude photography. Now she lives in Vancouver, Canada.
